Settings

The Settings tab holds app-level preferences: how Makion looks, your license and version, and which Makion server the app talks to. SAP connections used to live here — they now have their own Systems tab.

Theme#

A segmented control with three choices: System / Light / Dark. System follows your operating system's appearance; Light and Dark force that theme.

License#

The License section shows your current license state and, for admins, lets you manage the key.

Control What it does When it appears
Replace key / Remove Swap or clear the active license. Superadmin only, when a license is present
Paste your Makion license key… box + Activate Enter and activate a license key. Superadmin only, when activating
Ask your administrator to activate a license. Guidance only — no controls. For non-admin users

See License & updates for editions, kinds, and how the updates flag works.

Updates#

Control What it does When it appears
Current version: {v} Shows the installed app version. Always
Check for updates Checks the server for a newer version. Always
Download & install {version} Downloads and installs the available update. When an update is available
You're on the latest version. Confirms nothing to install. When no update is available

Makion server#

The URL of the Makion backend the app connects to.

Control What it does
Server URL input The backend address the app talks to.
History dropdown Typing in or focusing the field opens a list of recent values. Use ↑ / ↓ to navigate, Enter to pick, and × to forget an entry.

SAP connection#

This section is a note only: SAP connections are now managed in the Systems tab. The older SAP connection fields moved there.

Saving#

The Save button commits your changes. It shows Saved ✓ on success, or Save failed if it could not.
